Maureen Moeller is a 2015 graduate of Eastern Illinois University with a Master of Arts in Flute Performance. She studied under Dr. Rebecca Johnson and was the Graduate Assistant/Business Manager for the Eastern Symphony Orchestra. Maureen performed extensively with the Wind Symphony, Eastern Symphony Orchestra, Eastern Symphony Chamber Orchestra, Flute Choir, and various chamber ensembles where she held the principal flute position.
 
Maureen has also worked in western Michigan at Blue Lake Fine Arts Camp where she spent the Summer of 2015 and 2016 as a counselor in Camp Bernstein. She performed with the Festival Band, Staff Band, Quintet, and also held the position of a sectional teacher.
 
She holds a Bachelor of Music Performance from Middle Tennessee State University where she studied under Dr. Deanna Hahn-Little. At MTSU, Maureen participated in various ensembles such as the Symphony Orchestra, Chamber Orchestra, Wind Ensemble, Symphonic Band, Flute Choir, and other several smaller chamber groups. She was the recipient of the Outstanding Achievement in Woodwind Performance award in 2013, runner-up in the mock orchestral audition of MTSU’s 2012 Flute Festival, and concerto soloist in the MTSU’s Chamber Orchestra, performing Howard Hanson’s Serenade, Op. 35 in Spring 2012. In May 2011, she traveled with the MTSU Wind Ensemble to Costa Rica and Panama for a teaching/performing tour. Maureen was also chosen as a performer in the Rome Festival Orchestra in 2011.
 
She has participated in several masterclasses with many prestigious flutists such as Eva Amsler, Nina Assimakopoulos, Beth Chandler, Erik Gratton, Angeleita Floyd, Katherine Kemler, Christopher Krueger, Kathryn Lukas, and Alexa Still.
